Don’t be fooled by using a less effective Essiac
The original 4 herb formula was taken orally and in later years was given by intramuscular injection. The original 4 herbs used by the Ojibwa Indians are still in use today offering moderate results.
Approximately 8 years of laboratory research and testing in the late 50’s and early 60’s by Dr. Brusch, Rene Caisse and a staff of scientists, concluded in triumphant results. The addition of 4 “potentiators*” herbs to the existing four herb formula became even more effective. So much so that it was possible to administer the entire formula orally and made the original 4 herb formula unnecessary.
These “potentiators” included Blessed Thistle, Red Clover, Watercress and Kelp to the original formula.
The 8-herb formula for Essiac is more potent, more effective, longer lasting and yields the best results.
(*Potentiate: to cause to be more potent, to increase the effectiveness of.)
