Heart Issues: Maybe/Maybe not

There are a couple of things that you can check on by yourself, which is not at all 100% fool proof, but it may be helpful in determining that you may be in need of seeing a cardiologist.  There are a couple of things that you can see on your physical body that may give you a clue.

You may want to first take a look in the mirror at your earlobes.  Remember now, if you are eating correctly and doing your exercise and taking Vitamin E, the likely hood is there is nothing wrong.  If you notice that you have diagonal creases across your earlobes, it may be a sign of heart disease.  It would be a good idea to see a doctor and have your cholesterol, triglyceride, homocysteine levels checked.

Another little secret is to see if you have a red nose and rosy read cheeks.

This is simply caused by dilated capillaries in your cheeks and nose but this could possibly be the sign of low stomach acidity.

This could mean that you may have a problem digesting and absorbing food nutrients along with possible medications and food supplements.

It is also possible that a low production of hydrochloric acid and pepsin in the stomach may be closely related to having above- normal cholesterol levels along with hardening of the arteries.

Now remember, if you grew up with light skin and had a propensity, when the weather is hot, to be a little red faced in the heat, you are exempt from the example of dilated capillaries, as you were born that way!

All of my blogs are designed to be about your lifestyle and how to stay healthy.  They are purposely constructed to be short, to the point and fun to read.  Hopefully some of our readers are getting something positive messages and lifestyle changes out of these blogs.

This blog is not being printed to scare anybody to run to the hospital.  The purpose is that your body does find a way of telling you something may be wrong.  When you feel that way, we are suggesting acting on what you see and feel and make an appointment with your Doctor.

To Your Health!
